I’m a true romantic at heart, and It fills me with so much joy to know that I get to work with so many amazing couples like you.
There’s something about a wedding gallery that makes you pause for just a second longer. It isn’t always the perfectly posed portraits or the grand moments everyone expects, it’s often the quiet ones. The glance across the room. The way your grandparents hold hands during dinner. The deep breath before you walk down the aisle. Film wedding photography and black-and-white images have a way of preserving those moments differently. They slow everything down and remind us that the feeling behind a photograph is often what makes it unforgettable. While digital photography beautifully documents your wedding day, adding film and intentional black-and-white images brings another layer to your gallery. Together, they create a collection of photographs that feels timeless, emotional, and full of heart!

One of my favorite things about film is that it asks us to be present. Every frame is intentional. There isn’t an endless stream of photos being taken, which means each image is created with care and purpose. That slower pace naturally lends itself to photographs that feel honest and deeply meaningful. Film also has a softness that’s difficult to describe until you’ve seen it. The colors feel gentle, the light wraps around people in the most beautiful way, and the grain adds a texture that makes every photograph feel like a memory instead of just an image.
Years from now, those photographs won’t feel tied to a trend, they’ll simply feel like your wedding day. That’s exactly why film has become one of my favorite add-ons to offer. It’s not about replacing digital photography, it’s about complementing it. Your gallery becomes richer because it holds different textures, different moods, and another way of telling the same story.

Some moments don’t need color to tell the story. When you remove color, your eyes naturally settle on everything else, the expression on your dad’s face as he sees you for the first time, your partner wiping away tears during your vows, your grandparents laughing together during the reception, or the way you instinctively reach for each other’s hand without even thinking about it. Black-and-white photographs have a way of stripping away distractions and letting emotion take center stage.
They feel timeless because they’re rooted in connection instead of color palettes or wedding trends. Whether your wedding is filled with bright florals or soft neutrals, those images will always bring you back to how everything felt. Some of my favorite photographs in every gallery end up being black and white because they invite you to notice the little things, the moments that might have slipped by in real time but become some of the most meaningful memories when you look back.

If you’ve ever looked at a photograph and felt like you could step right back into that moment, that’s exactly what I hope to create for every couple. Whether it’s the timeless texture of film or the quiet emotion found in black-and-white images, those photographs become part of the story you’ll return to for years to come. If you’re dreaming of a wedding gallery that feels honest, nostalgic, and full of genuine moments, I’d love to create something that feels true to you.
