I’m a true romantic at heart, and It fills me with so much joy to know that I get to work with so many amazing couples like you.
There was something so easy and timeless about Kylee and Logan’s wedding at The Westin Savannah. Their day had that classic Savannah feeling without feeling overly formal, soft colors, palm trees, the river just beyond the lawn, and so many moments that felt genuinely relaxed. From their quiet first look under the gazebo to a ceremony surrounded by their favorite people and a garden-party-inspired reception outside, the whole day felt warm, joyful, and completely their own.

Before the ceremony and before everyone else joined them, Kylee and Logan had a little pocket of the day that was just theirs. Their first look underneath the gazebo was easily one of my favorite parts. With the river in the background and the shade from the surrounding trees, it felt tucked away even though they were right in the middle of the venue.
I always love when couples make room for moments like this because there’s no need for them to feel complicated or overly staged. Kylee walked up behind Logan, and from there, they simply got to be together for a while. They talked, laughed, hugged, and had a chance to settle into the day before everything really began. It was quiet and simple in the best way.

Their ceremony took place on the lawn overlooking the Savannah River, with the gazebo sitting just beyond the aisle. The setting already has so much going for it, so their florals felt like a natural extension of the space rather than something competing with it. Soft peach, blue, white, and plenty of greenery brought a little more color into the ceremony while still keeping everything light and timeless.
And then there was the setting itself. Palm trees framed the lawn, boats moved along the river in the distance, and the afternoon light slowly softened as the ceremony went on. It gave Kylee and Logan the feeling of an outdoor Savannah wedding while still having everything right there at The Westin. Afterward, we could wander down toward the marina for portraits without needing to leave the property, giving them more time to actually enjoy their wedding day instead of spending it traveling between locations.

The reception might be my favorite part of the design from this entire wedding. Long and round tables filled the lawn, surrounded by palms and greenery, with the river nearby and the late-day light coming through the trees. It had the prettiest garden party feeling without needing to be overly elaborate.
The tables were kept soft and simple with greenery, blue and peach florals, candles, and little gold details. I loved how everything tied back into the colors from the ceremony and the bridesmaids’ sage dresses. As the sun started getting lower, the whole space took on this warm glow that made dinner outside feel especially cozy. It was elegant, but still relaxed enough that it felt like a celebration you could settle into and stay awhile.

If you’re drawn to wedding days that feel beautiful without losing the parts that actually matter, the quiet moments together, time with your people, and space to really enjoy where you are, a wedding at The Westin Savannah gives you so much room to create that. Whether you’re imagining a waterfront ceremony, dinner outside under the palms, or slipping away to the marina as the sun starts to set, there are so many ways to make the space feel like your own.
