Venue Spotlight: Hewitt Oaks in Bluffton, SC 

Hewitt Oaks is a dreamy wedding and event venue located in Bluffton, South Carolina. It offers Southern coastal charm, a peaceful atmosphere, and a variety of backdrops! It is definitely one of my favorites! So if you are still looking for a wedding venue, consider Hewitt Oaks!

Luxury, Dreamy and Southern Charm: Hewitt Oaks in Bluffton, SC 

Hewitt Oaks sits in the countryside, just 10 minutes from downtown Bluffton, 30 minutes from downtown Savannah, and 25 minutes from Hilton Head Island’s beaches! It also sits on a 25-acre property featuring ancient oak trees draped in Spanish moss, lush gardens, and stunning views! 

This venue has a variety of spaces for your dream wedding! So whether you’re wanting an outdoor or indoor wedding, Hewitt Oaks has the perfect space for you! Let’s take a look at the different spaces! 

Hewitt Oaks Event Spaces

Angel Oak Canopy

This space is perfect for an outdoor ceremony or reception! Additionally, the open space is surrounded by beautiful oak trees draped in Spanish moss, giving the entire space such a dreamy vibe. The Angel Oak Canopy accommodates 200 guests for a dinner or cocktail party or 300 for a wedding ceremony. 

Gracie Hall

This space is a large indoor reception space designed with elegant Southern charm. It has high ceilings, chandeliers, and a neutral color palette that can be customized to different wedding styles! Additionally,It can accommodate up to 220 seated guests! 

Riders Courtyard

This space is usually used for cocktail hour as it is only 1,800 sqft! It is perfect for your guests to mingle before the wedding reception. However you can definitely fit 100 seated guests in this area. It is decorated with hanging lights and beautiful oak trees surrounding it. 

The Swooning Tree

The Swooning tree is one of the most popular ceremony spots at Hewitt Oaks. It has dramatic sweeping branches that just makes for a beautiful ceremony backdrop! Additionally, it seats up to 300 people! 

The Promise Tree

This tree is a great ceremony spot as well! It is a beautiful oak tree with hanging Spanish moss. It also has a stone pathway and a big lawn behind the tree. This ceremony spot seats up to 200 people! 

The Huling Hall

If you’re wanting an indoor ceremony space this one’s for you! It’s a cute building that seats up to 160 guests. Therefore, it’s great for cocktail hour if weather doesn’t permit an outdoor cocktail hour. 

Cardinal Courtyard

This space has a beautiful view of the meadow and is surrounded with lush greenery! It has a stone floor, so setting up a reception here would look amazing!

The Meadow

The Meadow is a popular spot for big weddings at Hewitt Oaks. It is an open grass area and It can seat up to 600 people! Usually couple’s choose to set up tents here and it looks absolutely amazing!

The venue offers a range of services, including in house catering, event coordination, and customizable packages! One of the reasons I love this venue is their flexibility. They are known for hosting the smallest weddings to the most grand weddings! Hewitt Oaks a popular choice for couples looking for a romantic, and Southern charm venue!
