Intimate Fall Wedding at Callaway Gardens

Kassandra and Nick’s story began in their hometown in Upstate NY. She had just enlisted in the Navy, and he was enlisted in the Army. They caught each others’ eyes in a small local bar, and there was a moment where they locked eyes, smiled at each other and went on with their night. Five years later, living in opposite ends of the country, they reconnected through social media. He ended up going to visit in Florida where she lived for two weeks and they have been inseparable ever since. Kassandra and Nick choose to celebrate their love and the joining of their hearts with their closest family and friends in an intimate wedding ceremony on Veteran’s Day.

Kassandra and Nick had an intimate fall wedding surrounded by their closest family and friends. It was like stepping into the scene from a fairly tale with the leaves on the trees vibrant with autumn colors and a crispness in the air. There was a gentle rain for good luck, which only added to the whimsical romance of their intimate fall wedding day. The day began with getting ready and a private first look at the Mountain Top Inn and Resort. Kassandra and Nick shared personal hand written vows with each other during this quiet moment together, before heading to Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain GA for their intimate ceremony at the Ida Cason Callaway Memorial Chapel.

The ceremony at Ida Cason was absolutely lovely, with the light streaming in through the stained glass window onto Kassandra and Nick as they vowed to cherish each other for the rest of their lives. I believe my absolute favorite moment of the day was following the ceremony when they shared their first dance together outside of the chapel with all of their friends and family. Then we took photos with their guests and then bride and groom portraits. The bride and groom then headed back to the Mountain Top Inn and Resort for a celebration with their guests.
