I’m a true romantic at heart, and It fills me with so much joy to know that I get to work with so many amazing couples like you.
There was something about this evening that felt like it was unfolding slowly on purpose… like the light knew to linger just a little longer, like the air held onto every laugh a second past when it should’ve faded. These engagement photos at Tryphena’s Garden felt less like a session and more like stepping into a soft, golden memory already in the making. Ariel and Conor carried that kind of love, the easy, playful, deeply rooted kind that doesn’t need to try too hard to be felt.

From the very beginning, there was this quiet rhythm between them. The kind where they didn’t need direction, didn’t need to be told where to stand or how to move, they just naturally found each other. Ariel’s laughter came so freely, like it lived just beneath the surface, and Conor met it every single time with this steady, grounding presence that made everything feel safe and warm.
We wandered through the gardens as the light softened, brushing through trees wrapped in ivy and past that glowing gazebo that felt straight out of a storybook. And somehow, even with all that beauty around them, it was still them that held your attention. The way she leaned into him without thinking. The way he looked at her like he already knew every version of her and loved them all the same.

As golden hour settled in, everything shifted into that dreamy, almost weightless kind of glow. The grass warmed under their feet, the sky softened into muted pastels, and the whole space felt wrapped in this quiet kind of magic. They ran through the open lawn like they forgot anyone else existed, hands intertwined, laughter echoing in the stillness. Later, we slowed things down near the water and tucked into a quiet little spot with a blanket, the light catching in her hair and resting gently along their shoulders.
It felt intimate in the most natural way, not staged, not forced just two people fully present with each other. Even the smallest moments felt full. A hand resting on his shoulder. A soft kiss that lingered just a little longer than expected. The kind of moments that don’t ask for attention, but hold it anyway. And just when you thought the light couldn’t get any better, it did. That final golden glow wrapping around them on the bridge, everything still and quiet except for the way they looked at each other. Like time had softened just for them.

If you’re dreaming of something that feels a little slower, a little softer… something that isn’t about perfect poses but about being fully present with the person you love, this is your sign. Your engagement photos don’t have to feel like a checklist. They can feel like an evening you never want to end.
