I’m a true romantic at heart, and It fills me with so much joy to know that I get to work with so many amazing couples like you.
There was something about this day that felt like it belonged to another time, soft, romantic, almost hushed in the way it unfolded. Ashley and Josh’s bridgerton-inspired wedding at The Barn at Cottonwood Ranch carried that kind of quiet magic, where every detail felt chosen with care and every moment lingered just a little longer. From the very beginning, it wasn’t just beautiful, it felt intentional, like a story that had been gently unfolding long before this day arrived.

The morning felt warm and unhurried, like everything was exactly where it needed to be. Light filtered through the windows, catching on satin and pearls, soft textures layered against the wood tones of the space. Ashley’s gown hung quietly before it became part of her, smooth and timeless, paired with a pearl-studded veil that felt like something passed down through memory, not just generations.
There was a tenderness in the way the morning moved. Her mom’s hands adjusting the dress, the soft hum of voices from her closest people, the kind of laughter that comes from being fully at ease. And then those quieter moments, standing with her grandma, holding onto something deeper than words, letting the weight of the day settle in gently.

Outside, the air carried that stillness that comes before a storm. The pond sat quiet, Spanish moss swayed slowly, and the sky began to darken in a way that felt almost cinematic. Just before the ceremony, thunder rolled in the distance, low and steady and for a moment, everything paused. But nothing about it felt chaotic. If anything, it made the day feel even more grounded. They waited, surrounded by the people who love them most, tucked inside while the rain passed through like it was just another part of the story. And then, just enough of a window opened.
The ceremony took place with the wind moving through Ashley’s veil, clouds still lingering overhead, the light shifting softly around them. They stood there, fully present, reading their handwritten vows, not rushed, not distracted just steady in each other. It felt honest. Deep. Like the kind of love that doesn’t need perfect weather to be certain.

As the evening settled in, the space filled with a different kind of energy, lighter, louder, but still deeply rooted in love. Tables were layered with soft spring tones lilac, sage, peach, florals that felt like they had been gathered rather than arranged. Even the bridesmaids’ bouquets mirrored their dresses, everything tying together in a way that felt effortless and thoughtful all at once.
There were moments that stayed with you. A prayer shared through a screen from someone who couldn’t be there, but still was. A slideshow of memories that folded their past into the present. The way Ashley chose to give her bouquet not away, but to placing it into the hands of the women who shaped her, her mom and her grandma, like a quiet thank you. And then the celebration opened up, laughter spilling across the room, a conga line weaving through tables, limbo and movement and the kind of joy that doesn’t need direction. It wasn’t just a party, it was release. It was everyone exhaling together.

At the very end, when the music softened and the room began to empty, there was one last moment that felt almost sacred. Just the two of them, sharing a final dance, no audience, no noise, just the quiet rhythm of being together after everything had unfolded. And then the sparkler exit, light flickering against the night, cheers rising around them a joyful kind of sendoff that still somehow felt intimate. Like the whole day had been.

If you’re drawn to days that feel a little slower, a little softer, where the beauty isn’t just in how it looks, but in how it settles into you, I would love to tell your story in that same way. The ones where nothing has to be perfect to be meaningful, where even the unexpected becomes part of the magic. If that feels like you, I’m here, ready to hold space for it all.
