I’m a true romantic at heart, and It fills me with so much joy to know that I get to work with so many amazing couples like you.
There was something incredibly tender about this Callaway Gardens wedding from the very beginning. The whole day carried this quiet kind of emotion, the kind you could feel sitting in the room long before anyone said it out loud. Soft spring colors tucked into every corner, handwritten vows folded carefully between nervous hands, the sound of rain arriving just as guests gathered beneath umbrellas. Randi and Reed’s wedding day felt deeply intentional in all the best ways. Not rushed. Not performative. Just full of meaning, faith, family, and the kind of love that makes everyone around them soften a little.

The morning unfolded slowly across separate rooms at Callaway Gardens & Resort, with bridesmaids helping Randi into the most stunning floral lace gown while the guys laughed and adjusted bowties nearby. Everything about the details felt classic but alive, pastel florals spilling across tables, delicate invitation suites wrapped in soft blue and pink blooms, candles flickering against crisp white linens. Even before the ceremony began, there was this feeling that the day was being held gently by everyone around them.
Then came the first look at the Ida Cason Memorial Chapel, tucked quietly among the trees like something from another lifetime. Reed turned around and immediately lost it the second he saw her, and honestly, everyone else nearly did too. It wasn’t dramatic or loud. Just honest. The kind of emotion that catches in your throat because you know it’s real. They stood together beneath the stone archways afterward, sharing private vows away from the crowd and cameras, holding onto those few quiet moments before the day swept them forward again. The chapel, the stained glass, the damp spring air outside, it all felt impossibly still around them.

Right before the ceremony, the rain finally arrived. Not enough to interrupt anything, just enough to make everything feel softer somehow. Guests made their way across the lawn carrying colorful umbrellas while the wedding party gathered beneath the tent overlooking the water at Longleaf Lawn. The cloudy skies wrapped the entire afternoon in this muted, romantic light that made every moment feel even more intimate.
Their ceremony was rooted deeply in faith and intention from beginning to end. Scripture filled the air alongside quiet tears and knowing smiles between family members. Communion was shared beneath the draped tent while rain tapped softly in the background, and there was something incredibly grounding about the simplicity of it all. You could tell this wasn’t just about the celebration for them, it was about the covenant they were stepping into together. Randi kept looking at Reed with this calm, steady joy all throughout the ceremony, like she already knew this was exactly where she was always meant to be.

Once the reception began, the entire energy of the day shifted into something joyful and completely alive. The ballroom glowed with candlelight, pastel florals, and soft spring textures that somehow felt elegant and playful all at once. Guests crowded around the dance floor almost immediately, and from that point on, the night barely slowed down. There were glow sticks, leis tossed around shoulders, people singing at the top of their lungs, and the kind of dancing where nobody cares what they look like because they’re having too much fun.
One of my favorite things about Randi and Reed’s day was how fully present they were in every single part of it. They weren’t trying to rush through moments or curate perfection. They let themselves laugh hard, cry openly, hug their people tight, and disappear into the middle of the dance floor together without worrying about anything else. By the time they ran through their sparkler exit at the end of the night, it felt less like the ending of a wedding day and more like the closing scene of something everyone wished could last a little longer.

There’s something so beautiful about wedding days that don’t try too hard to be perfect. The ones where emotions spill out naturally, where weather shifts unexpectedly, where everyone leans into the moment instead of away from it. Randi and Reed’s day was a reminder that sometimes the most meaningful weddings are the ones that simply allow space for people to feel everything fully.
