I’m a true romantic at heart, and It fills me with so much joy to know that I get to work with so many amazing couples like you.
There are some places that feel like they were made for slowing down, and Wormsloe Historic Site is one of them. For Sarah and Ethan’s Savannah engagement session. We spent the afternoon wandering beneath the iconic oak-lined avenue, taking in the warm sunshine, blue skies, and the kind of quiet beauty that makes Savannah so special. With Spanish moss draped overhead and soft light filtering through the trees, the entire session felt relaxed, effortless, and centered on what mattered most: the two of them simply being together. One of my favorite things about this session is how natural it felt. There was no rushing from spot to spot or trying to force moments. Sarah and Ethan were completely present with each other, and that connection carried us through the entire afternoon.

If you’ve ever visited Wormsloe, you know exactly why it has become one of the most sought-after locations for engagement photos in Savannah. The historic oak avenue creates an incredible backdrop, but what makes it truly special is the feeling of being there. The long dirt road, the canopy of moss-covered branches, and the quiet stillness of the property create a setting that feels both grand and intimate at the same time. For Sarah and Ethan, it was the perfect place to celebrate this season of their lives. They spent the session walking hand in hand beneath the trees, sharing quiet smiles and laughter along the way. Looking through these images, what stands out most isn’t the location, it’s the way they look at each other. Even surrounded by one of Savannah’s most beautiful landscapes, your eyes keep coming back to them.

One of the reasons I love photographing at Wormsloe Historic Site is that it offers so much variety while still feeling cohesive. The famous oak avenue is beautiful, but the surrounding trails, open spaces, and pockets of filtered light provide countless opportunities for photos that feel unique and personal.
The sunny weather on Sarah and Ethan’s session day only added to the magic. The light danced through the trees, creating a soft glow that complemented the peaceful atmosphere of the property. Combined with the timeless feel of their outfits and the easy way they interacted with one another, every part of the session felt effortless. It was the kind of afternoon that reminds you that engagement photos don’t need to be complicated. Sometimes all you need is a beautiful location, good light, and two people who genuinely enjoy being together.

If you’re dreaming of a Savannah engagement session that feels relaxed, meaningful, and true to your relationship, Wormsloe Historic Site is hard to beat. Whether you’re drawn to the iconic oak-lined road or simply love the quiet beauty of the Lowcountry, it’s a location that never disappoints.
