Woodsy Fall Engagement Session in Claxton GA

Marci and Josh’s fall engagement session was so playful and fun, filled with laughter that celebrated their love. They wanted their engagement session to be relaxed and focus on them and the love they share. Marci and Josh decided on a woodsy outdoor location with natural scenery for their fall engagement session. We headed out to one of my favorite spots in Evan’s County GA – a serene location on the water, where the golden hour sun hits just right through the trees.

Marci and Josh brought a blanket and a bottle of wine, and we just enjoyed the evening together taking photos (while trying to avoid the bugs!). I encouraged them to be themselves and have fun, just focusing on each other. I used a lot of my favorite prompts like the airplane, three-legged-race, kissing tag, and of course barrel rolls on the blanket, resulting in candid images filled will joy and laughter.

Of course, it wasn’t all just silly prompts during this woodsy fall engagement session. I had to throw some intimate moments in there as well, allowing them to soak in the special feeling of being engaged. This mix of fun prompts and gentle posing allowed Marci and Josh’s joyful love for each other to shine through into their photographs, while also allowing them to create new memories.

This woodsy fall engagement session was filled with so much joy, laughter and love. Marci and Josh ended the evening enjoying wine and just soaking in the knowledge that they would be getting married in the next couple of weeks!
