A Romantic Chateau 1800 Wedding | Jade & Bradley

There was something so effortless about Jade and Bradley’s romantic Chateau 1800 wedding. It was one of those warm, balmy summer days where the sun seemed to hang around just a little longer, giving everything that soft golden glow. From the colorful florals and quiet moments getting ready to their ceremony overlooking the water and a reception filled with everyone they love, the whole day felt classy and romantic while still being completely relaxed and full of life.

A Slow Start to Their Romantic Chateau 1800 Wedding

The day started inside Chateau 1800 with everyone getting ready and those little moments that always end up meaning so much. Jade slipped into her dress with her people close by, while Bradley got ready just a few rooms away. I loved how unhurried this part of their day felt, there was time to take it all in before everything really began.

And then came their first look. With the summer sun glowing across the property, Jade walked up behind Bradley before he finally turned around and saw her. It was intimate, sweet, and gave the two of them a little pocket of time together before joining their wedding party. Their neutral attire paired with the soft blues, peaches, creams, and greenery in the florals was so pretty against the summer landscape and brought that classy, colorful feel into every part of the day.

A Summer Ceremony Overlooking the Water

Their ceremony might have been one of my favorite parts of this romantic Chateau 1800 wedding. The floral-covered ceremony space sat right along the water, surrounded by greenery and that beautiful late-day light. It felt like such a peaceful setting to have everyone they love gathered together while Jade and Bradley exchanged their vows.

Afterward, we took advantage of that dreamy summer light for portraits around the property. Jade and Bradley were so easy together, and some of my favorite images are the ones where they were simply laughing, walking, or tucked underneath her veil for a few quiet seconds. There was romance to the photos, of course, but they still felt like them, happy, comfortable, and very much enjoying the fact that they were finally married.

From Golden Hour to the Dance Floor

As the sun disappeared, the celebration moved inside, and the reception had an entirely different kind of warmth. Candlelight filled the tables alongside those same colorful florals, while gold details and chandeliers gave the room such a classic feel. I especially loved how the large windows kept the water and evening sky visible outside, it made the transition from their outdoor ceremony into the reception feel so seamless.

Jade changed into a shorter dress for the party, and from there, everyone was ready to have fun. There was cake, dancing, a packed dance floor, and all of those wonderfully chaotic little reception moments that you can never plan ahead of time. It was the perfect ending to a day that had felt romantic and intentional without ever feeling too serious.
