What inspired the opening of your venue, Chateau 1800?

We were inspired to open Chateau 1800 because we saw a unique opportunity to fill a gap in our community. The idea came to us when we noticed that there was a distinct need for a different kind of venue in our area. We wanted to create a space that went beyond the traditional event venues and offered something truly special.

Chateau 1800 is our way of bringing a fresh, creative, and versatile event space to our community, one that could cater to a wide range of celebrations and gatherings. We’re passionate about providing a venue where couples and event planners can let their imaginations run wild and turn their dreams into reality

What different services do you provide your clients at Chateau 1800?

Chateau 1800 offers an array of exceptional services to ensure your wedding day is truly magical. Our venue spans across a sprawling 56-acre estate, providing you with access to the entire property. You have the freedom to choose your ideal ceremony location, whether it’s by the serene lake, in our magical forest, or any other enchanting spot on the estate.

Our bride and groom suites have been thoughtfully designed with both comfort and elegance in mind, offering the perfect spaces for you and your bridal party to prepare and relax. We provide gold chiavari tables and chairs, ensuring your event setup is seamless. Additionally, we offer a state-of-the-art projector and screen to enhance your wedding experience.

To make your day even more special, we offer a range of packages tailored to your preferences. These packages include unique amenities such as the use of our vintage golf cart for your entrance and exit, indulgent brunch spreads and champagne for the bridal party, an overnight stay in our luxurious master bedroom with breakfast served in bed, and a romantic couples’ massage on the porch overlooking the tranquil lake.

We’re not the venue that’ll raise an eyebrow at your grandest ideas or your quirkiest ones, for that matter. How far in advance do you recommend for couples looking to book Chateau 1800 as their wedding venue?

I would recommend at least a year for a preferred date. However, we do not have any restrictions on how soon, or how far in advance that you can book.

We start by having a friendly chat, whether it’s a warm phone call or a quick text exchange, where we dive into your dreams for your big day. Once we’ve connected, we invite you to join us for a tour of our enchanting property. It’s an experience where you’ll fall in love with our venue and feel the magic.

What do you enjoy most about being in the wedding industry?

What I enjoy the most about being a venue manager, is definitely seeing all of the hard work come together in the end, and seeing the overwhelming amount of love and happiness in the room. Being entrusted with one of the biggest days in your life is truly an honor to me, and I always end up teary eyed every time I see my brides finally walking down the aisle.

I think my absolute favorite part is the morning of the wedding, when I go in to check on my brides. Just seeing the pure joy and excitement makes everything worth it!

What advice do you have for those who are searching for their wedding venue?

When it comes to wedding planning, finding the right venue is the first step, because the venue is usually the deciding factor for the rest of your vendors. Once you are ready to start securing everyone else, it is best to take it step by step, and one vendor at a time. Do your research and start connecting with them. Have a list of questions ready and feel them out to see if you would be a good fit together before booking.
