I’m a true romantic at heart, and It fills me with so much joy to know that I get to work with so many amazing couples like you.
There’s something timeless about a Middleton Place wedding, where the oak trees hang heavy with moss, and the air feels like it’s holding its breath for love to bloom. Located along the Ashley River in Charleston, this historic estate isn’t just a venue. It’s a place where past and present hold hands. Where the soft hush of the gardens becomes part of the vows. And where love stories, like Lexi & Keith’s and Des & Griffin’s, feel right at home! From the reflecting pools to the quiet winding paths, Middleton Place invites a kind of stillness, one that lets you fall into the moment, stay a little longer, and hold each other a little closer.
Lexi and Keith’s story began the way all the best country songs do: under the sky, surrounded by music, and a spark that lit up the night. It was July 2014, a Dierks Bentley concert tailgate in San Diego when fate first nudged them toward each other. By the very next month, they were official. And a year later? Married and moving across the country to start a brand new life together! Their love grew fast and deep, the kind that anchors you even when everything else is shifting. They built a home in Katy, Texas, then moved to South Carolina in 2019. They welcomed their son, Stetson, in 2020, and their daughter, Memphis, in 2023. Through every season, their connection has only deepened.
“He’s my cowboy and I’m his tiny dancer,” Lexi says, and you can feel that kind of poetic devotion in every look they share. Their Middleton Place styled wedding photoshoot was filled with warmth, softness, and southern beauty. The way the light hit her face, the way he held her hand like it was still their first date, it all made sense in that garden, like the past decade had been leading to this moment all along!
Sometimes love finds you in the most unexpected of scrolls. Des and Griffin matched on Tinder when Griffin was working out of town, a little blip in Augusta’s radius, and just like that, her message changed everything: “When will you not be 60 miles away?” That line kicked off their story, one full of spontaneity, laughter, and cross-city devotion. Griffin moved to Augusta to be closer to her, and in December, he proposed. Five months later, they were married, just like that! Their Middleton Place styled wedding photoshoot felt like a modern love story wrapped in something classic. Soft edges, windswept hair, the two of them beaming like they’d known each other in every life before this one. From the heartfelt, tender looks under ancient trees to their playful little moments tucked between the gardens, it was clear: this was just the beginning of their epic love story.
There’s something sacred about saying “I do” at Middleton Place. Maybe it’s the history echoing beneath your feet. Maybe it’s the golden light that filters through branches just right. Or maybe it’s the way the venue holds space for your story, letting your love shine without needing to shout. With its landscaped terraces, peaceful water views, and Spanish moss-draped trees, this venue feels like a dream you don’t want to wake from. It’s versatile too! Intimate elopement or full-scale celebration, every wedding here becomes its own kind of magic. Whether your story started on a dance floor or in a dating app message, Middleton Place has a way of turning the next chapter into something unforgettable.
