I’m a true romantic at heart, and It fills me with so much joy to know that I get to work with so many amazing couples like you.
The first time I met Tiffany & Pete, it was Valentine’s Day weekend and they were celebrating their love with a romantic photoshoot on the beach. At the time, they were in a long distance relationship, but Tiffany knew that she had met the man she would be spending forever with. Even then, she was planning their wedding day, and they were just waiting until he could move to Georgia before taking the next step. A few months later, things were starting to come together – Pete got news that he would be able to move to Georgia that August, and he proposed to Tiffany while visiting her over the Fourth of July weekend. Not long after he proposed, I received her excited text message with photos of her ring.
Tiffany and Pete’s engagement session at Georgia Southern University’s Botanic Garden in Statesboro, GA was nothing short of magical. It was a balmy September evening with clear skies overhead. The grounds were lush and verdant creating a romantic, fairy-tale setting, perfect for celebrating not only their engagement, but the love they share for one another. They were dressed for the occasion – Tiffany wore a rose gold sequined gown designed by Chicaboo and Pete was dapper in his navy blue suit, and the combination of the nature and their glamorous outfits did not dissapoint. However, the thing that made this engagement session truly magical is just how much in love Tiffany and Pete are and how their love shines through in every single thing they do.
We began the evening with more intimate moments, walking and exploring the gardens, snuggling, and of course no engagement session would be complete without highlights of her beautiful ring. I played their song for them and they danced to their song, gazing into one-anothers’ eyes and going in for a kiss. There was even some twirling involved. We walked some more through the gardens, they laughed, played, and kissed some more. Things got a little bit more playful as the evening progressed, and Tiffany and Pete changed into a more casual ensemble – Tiffany in a cute white sundress paired with a jean-jacket designed by Something New Bridal Box, and Pete in some nice jeans and white button up shirt. We went exploring to the greenhouse and surrounding garden. They frolicked through the gardens and danced some more, her twirling joyfully. Eventually we were beginning to lose light so the session had to come to an end, but not before we got some fun sun-flare shots. It was an evening filled with so much love and joy surrounding their engagement, and that in just one month they would be getting married!
