Amy and Dave’s love story is so unique, and they are just completely in love! That is why the downtown Historic District of Savannah, GA, was the perfect location for their engagement session. Amy and Dave’s Love Story

Amy and Dave’s story began in high school! Dave was a sophomore football player and wrestler,  and noticed Amy, a freshman cheerleader. He admired her beauty but never had the courage to speak to her. In 2023, a Facebook comment from Amy on a sunrise photo connected them! Though Amy disliked phone calls, they communicated daily via Marco Polo, phone, and FaceTime. Though they lived in different states (Pennsylvania and South Carolina), they had a long-distance relationship and took turns visiting each other monthly and introducing their families. They believe they needed time to grow and that their past experiences prepared them for each other!

Amy and Dave’s Engagement Session in Downtown Historic District of Savannah, GA.

Amy and Dave’s engagement session was at the downtown historic district of Savannah, GA. For their engagement session, Amy and Dave chose a tour of Savannah and booked a “Hop-on-Hop-off-Tour.” We began at the Savannah Welcome Center and hopped on a trolley, riding around the historic district while learning about its history. Our first stop was Jones Street, often called the most beautiful street in Savannah, with its cobblestone paths, draping Spanish moss, and historical homes featuring beautiful architecture and landscaping. There we captured romantic photos of Amy and Dave! Their love definitely showed throughout this entire session! From there, we walked to Forsyth Park, taking photos at Monterey Square and Bull Street along the way before arriving at the popular fountain at Forsyth Park. Afterward, we hopped back on the trolley and headed to River Street to catch the golden hour and sunset by the river.
