Brittany & Alec’s Intimate Wedding at The Wormsloe Plantation

Brittany and Alec’s intimate wedding at The Wormsloe Plantation in Savannah, GA was nothing short of magical. The golden evening light danced through the leaves of the mossy oaks lining the gravel drive, and a gentle summer breeze provided respite from the sultry Georgia heat. Timeless and romantic details in a palette of greens and neutrals brought their wedding vision to life, with personal touches such as vingage style suitcases, a DIY globe acting as a guestbook, and cute mint-green mini fans for guests, making it truly unique.

Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Alec awaited his bride as she glided towards him, a vision in ivory and lace. As Brittany got closer, their gazes met, their love for each other obvious beyond measure. As they joined hands together, the promise of forever wrapped around them in its embrace.

The ceremony was one of true intimacy, focusing solely on the couple and the love that they share for one another. Choosing to forgo tradition, Brittany and Alec spoke from the heart, sharing handwritten vows. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house as they said “I do.” Their guests cheered joyfully as Alec and Brittany shared their first kiss together as husband and wife.

The celebration continued with an intimate gathering at Lady & Sons Restaurant, where the tables were adorned with framed engagement photos, greenery, and white pillar candles. Family and friends had come from all over the country to celebrate with the newlyweds, enjoying a delicious family style meal of fried chicken and catfish, mac & cheese, rolls, and green beans (the catfish was a crowd pleaser!). The sweet tooth was exceptionally satisfied by donuts to go from Krispy Kreme, the delicious wedding cake, and of course the drool worthy dessert options from Lady & Sons.

It truly was a day filled with so much love and celebration.
