I’m a true romantic at heart, and It fills me with so much joy to know that I get to work with so many amazing couples like you.
Kaitlyn and Mike’s spring Savannah wedding was the perfect blend of romance, softness, and Southern charm. From the quiet morning moments to golden hour under the oak trees, every part of their day felt slow, sweet, and intentional. If you’re dreaming up your own spring wedding in Savannah, let this one be your sign.
Kaitlyn got ready in the coziest little Airbnb tucked away in downtown Savannah. The place had a beautiful courtyard, the kind that feels like a secret garden. It was just her, her closest people, and a soft sense of calm as the morning unfolded. Her dress hung from a wrought-iron balcony, catching the light like a storybook moment. The first look with her bridesmaids was full of gasps and happy tears, they couldn’t get over how stunning she looked in her gown with those dreamy puff sleeves. Meanwhile, Mike spent the morning at the JW Marriott with his brothers, laid-back, joyful, and full of that quiet excitement that builds before the big moment. The details were simple and classic: polished shoes, a soft blue tie, a bottle of Old Forester nearby, a little nod to good memories shared!
Their first look happened beneath the sweeping mossy oaks of Chatham Square, one of Savannah’s most peaceful little corners. Mike’s face the moment he turned around? Completely lit up. The two of them just melted into each other, sharing a few quiet moments alone before the rest of the day unfolded. After their first look, we wandered to Jones Street for portraits, one of the most iconic spots in the city. The backdrop of brick sidewalks and iron balconies felt timeless. They moved so naturally together, every frame full of softness and joy. We also took some beautiful portraits with their bridal party.
Their ceremony took place in the White Hall at Savannah Bottle Works, and it couldn’t have been more perfect for a spring Savannah wedding. The space was filled with natural light pouring through the tall windows, soft white draping, and sparkling chandeliers that added a little extra magic. Two floral pillars framed the altar, with blush and ivory blooms spilling with greenery. As Kaitlyn walked down the aisle, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. The moment felt big, but also deeply personal, like time had slowed just for them.
While guests mingled during cocktail hour, Kaitlyn and Mike slipped away for a private cake cutting just the two of them, soaking it all in. We snuck out again for golden hour portraits at Forsyth Park. The light was soft and golden, filtering through the trees and catching in the layers of Kaitlyn’s gown. They held hands, danced slowly, and wandered beneath the oaks as the sun dipped behind the rooftops. These were some of the most tender moments of the day!
Back at Bottle Works, dinner turned into laughter, dancing, and one of the most joyful receptions. Everyone showed up with full hearts and serious moves on the dance floor, light-up foam sticks and all. Before the night ended, Kaitlyn and Mike shared a private last dance. Just them, one more quiet pause in the middle of it all. Then came the bubble-filled exit, guests cheering, bubbles floating in the air, and two people stepping into married life with the biggest smiles on their faces!
