I’m a true romantic at heart, and It fills me with so much joy to know that I get to work with so many amazing couples like you.
There’s something sacred about spring in Savannah, the way the azaleas bloom like they’ve been holding their breath all winter, the hush of spanish moss swaying above quiet streets, the golden sun that feels warm but not hurried. And in the heart of it all, Ryann and Dave promised forever in the most timeless way: a spring wedding at Forsyth Park, surrounded by the people who know their love best!
The day began with soft laughter and careful hands, Ryann’s closest people zipping her into her gown, smoothing the lace, tucking back curls. Her dress felt like a love letter to romance itself, with airy tulle and those delicate off-the-shoulder sleeves that floated when she moved. There was a stillness in the morning, the kind that only shows up when a day matters deeply!
Tucked among blooming greens, Columbia Square was where they saw each other for the first time that day. Ryann stepped forward slowly, her bouquet of soft blushes and creams nestled in one arm, the other reaching for him. Dave turned, his smile spilling wide before he even opened his eyes all the way. Their hands found each other without a second thought. It wasn’t dramatic or loud. Just beautifully them, eyes meeting, tears blinking back, laughter slipping out mid-embrace. That kind of love that feels lived-in, safe, full of breath.
After the first look, they wandered together along Jones Street, one of Savannah’s most picturesque corners. Brick walkways, wrought iron, ivy-covered steps, the kind of place where time slows down. The light filtered through the live oaks like it had been saving itself just for them. They held hands. Twirled gently. Paused to lean into each other in the hush of old brick and distant birdsong. These weren’t just portraits, they were pauses in the day, space to remember: we get to do this together!
The ceremony unfolded in front of the fountain at Forsyth Park, where water danced behind them and white chairs lined the path like a dream. Sunlight filtered through moss-draped oaks, dappling every face in the crowd. A soft breeze fluttered the ribbon on a memorial chair reserved in loving memory, a quiet and sacred nod to those watching from beyond. As Ryann walked down the aisle, it was like the whole park softened for her. Dave’s eyes welled. The world stood still. Their vows, handwritten and tender, echoed just above the fountain’s gentle roar. And when they kissed, the cheers that rose from their people felt like a warm wave, not just clapping, but celebrating something truly good.
After the ceremony, the magic didn’t fade. If anything, it deepened. They chased golden light down to River Street, where the sky turned watercolor shades and the wind off the water wrapped around them like silk. Between cobblestones and fountains, they danced like no one was watching. He kissed her hand. She held his cheek. The light caught in her veil and his eyes. It felt cinematic, but more than that, it felt true. Two souls exhaling into each other, barefoot in their hearts.
Garibaldi’s offered the perfect exhale after the ceremony, warm light spilling through tall windows, tables draped in lace, and little vases of ranunculus and greenery catching the candlelight. The room buzzed softly with conversation and clinking glasses, shrimp cocktail and laughter passed around like old stories. Ryann and Dave made their entrance hand-in-hand to a room of cheers, then tucked into a table for two by the window, a little island of calm in the celebration. They shared sweet glances, a slice of cake with delicate florals, and a quiet dance as golden hour slipped into night. Everything about it felt intentional and tender, like a memory being written in real time. No rush. Just the glow of love and gratitude lingering in the room long after dessert was served!
If you’re dreaming of a day that unfolds slowly and sweetly, with sunlight in the trees, laughter echoing off cobblestones, and a love that feels like home, I’d be honored to document it.
