The Savannah Botanical garden is a garden with natural beauty with blooming flowers, and lush greenery throughout the garden! I love to shoot at this garden for the diverse backdrops throughout. Not only do you get flowers, and greenery but also gazebos and bridges that add a romantic feel to the photos. If you’re looking for a burst of colors for your Savannah engagement session, then Savannah Botanical Garden is for you!

Jones Street

Another favorite is Jones Street! It’s a very popular spot for photos and especially it’s a great location for engagement sessions, offering a historic and romantic backdrop. With its charming cobblestone streets, beautiful historic homes, and tree lined sidewalks, it creates the perfect setting for unforgettable photos as you walk through the street! I have had many sessions here and all of my couple’s love shooting here, they are able to walk around, enjoy the scenery and truly relax as I capture the special moments between them!

Forsyth Park

Forsyth Park is known for its iconic fountain and green backgrounds. It’s a classic location for Savannah couple’s looking for a beautiful outdoor engagement session spot. The park also has many oak trees draped in Spanish Moss making a great backdrop for engagement photos! Strolling through this park gives you so many photo opportunities and backdrops for you and your partner to dance around, have romantic moments and enjoy the outdoors together.

The Olde Pink House

The Olde Pink House is a must visit! It’s an 18th-century mansion that has a pink hue to it and provides a unique and memorable backdrop for engagement photos. The house’s unique exterior offers a variety of fun and romantic backdrops! It has a stunning entrance with steps and greenery all around! It’s a very different background than most around Savannah, so if you’re looking for a unique and special place for your engagement photos consider The Olde Pink House! The house is also a restaurant, so consider making your engagement session a date night and have dinner at the Old Pink House. It is definitely a must try!

It’s perfect for you if you’re looking for an outdoor location with a southern feel to it.
