Dreamy Surprise Proposal Photos at Isle of Hope in Savannah, GA

This session took place in the historic neighborhood of Isle of Hope in Savannah, Georgia! It was such an exciting day for Makaela and Kevin. What Makaela thought to be a couple sessions turned into a planned surprise proposal! I was beyond excited to capture their surprise proposal photos for this sweet couple.

Makaela and Kevin’s Dreamy Surprise Proposal Photos

Makaela and Kevin’s engagement session at Isle of Hope was absolutely dreamy. She had no idea Kevin was going to propose! She even wrote in her client questionnaire about waiting for him to pop the question. Little did she know he was planning to propose during their session! Kevin messaged me before their session and we came up with the perfect plan. At the beginning of the season they stood back-to-back, holding hands and facing away from each other, Kevin discreetly pulled out a ring box. When they turned to face each other, Kevin dropped to one knee and proposed. The look of shock and joy on Makaela’s face was priceless. Her enthusiastic “YES!” set the tone for the rest of the session! 

Following the proposal, Makaela and Kavin had such a dreamy session! They enjoyed a small romantic picnic and strolled along Bluff Drive!  As the sun began to set, they shared a champagne toast on the docks, the perfect ending to a magical evening.

Isle of Hope provided a stunning backdrop for the engagement session. The location, known for its oak-lined streets and scenic waterfront views, added a layer of timeless beauty to the photos. Every shot captured the couple’s joy and the unique charm of Savannah, making it a session to remember.
