Maggie & Daniel | A Windy Romance at Avenue of the Oaks | St. Simon’s Island, Georgia

It was a cold and windy day in St. Simon’s Island Georgia. The sky was a clear blue overhead and the beautiful oak trees danced wildly in the breeze. There was a wintry chill in the air, even as the golden sunlight streamed through the trees creating a beautiful glow. Maggie and Daniel eloped to Savannah right before their daughter was born and didn’t have the chance to have a “real” wedding. Having professional photos together was the perfect opportunity for Maggie and Daniel to dress up in some formal wear and celebrate their marriage. They looked absolutely stunning, with Daniel in his tan suit rented from Jake & Ed’s in Waycross GA and Maggie in a beautiful bohemian lace dress rented from Flutter Dress. Even with the wind and the cold, it was still the perfect evening for Maggie and Daniel’s photoshoot at Avenue of the Oaks. They walked through the trees together, the wind adding additional movement, catching her dress and her hair. They sat in the large oak with low hanging branches, and laughed as the wind caused the branches to sway. They embraced, trying to keep warm, and breathed in the love that they feel for each other. Then they danced, she twirled and laughed with joy. It was a beautiful evening filled with hundreds of romantic moments that were truly and authentically them. The result is absolutely magical.
