I’m a true romantic at heart, and It fills me with so much joy to know that I get to work with so many amazing couples like you.
Some wedding days feel like a deep breath. Like the whole world slowed down just long enough to let two people say, “I choose you.” That’s what it felt like witnessing Christin and Aaron’s romantic Georgia wedding, a celebration wrapped in warmth, reverence, and the kind of quiet joy that settles into your bones. Planned in just a few short months, this day felt anything but rushed. Every detail, every glance, every whispered prayer was a soft reminder that love doesn’t need years to bloom, just a willing heart and the people who matter most!
Before the dress was zipped or the vows spoken, there was stillness. A table scattered with florals that felt like spring arriving early, a spritz of perfume, and rings on display for us to capture. There was something sacred in the simplicity, heirloom earrings, classic invitations, and florals in muted blush and berry tones that echoed the gentle joy of the day. Christin’s gown, all delicate lace and sweeping tulle, waited quietly in a corner, framed by soft light and the promise of everything to come!
There’s a tenderness in the hours before “I do,” and Christin’s morning was filled with it. Wrapped in a satin robe and surrounded by women she loves, laughter came easy as did happy tears! Her sister helped her into her dress, fingers fumbling only slightly on the tiny buttons, and their dog made a few spirited appearances, soaking up every ounce of attention. Down the road, Aaron stood beneath oak tree shadows as his boutonnière was pinned. The air was light, the energy calm but full of anticipation, a feeling that something beautiful was about to unfold.
They chose to see each other before the ceremony, and it felt like a secret only the two of them were in on. Out on the dock, with the sun warming the wooden planks and their song softly playing, Christin walked toward Aaron. He turned, smiled, and the rest was quiet wonder. It wasn’t dramatic, it wasn’t over the top, it was simply real. A touch on the arm, a soft laugh, eyes that held each other for more than a moment. Before that, Aaron shared a sweet first look with his niece, and Christin had one with her dad, both moments full of emotion and love that set the tone for the rest of the day!
This crew brought the energy. The bridesmaids shimmered in jewel tones and earthy satins, a mix of warm bronze, slate blue, terracotta, and champagne that danced in the sunlight. Christin stood in the middle, glowing! The groomsmen? Chaos in the best way. At one point, they hoisted Aaron into the air with cheers and jokes, their joy unfiltered and so genuine it was contagious. These were the kind of group photos you don’t pose for, you feel them!
The church was quiet as everyone found their seats. This wasn’t just a ceremony; it was a worshipful gathering of hearts. Christin walked down the aisle at her family’s home church, her veil trailing behind like a ribbon of light. They stood beneath an arch of florals and faith, surrounded by people who had prayed them into this moment. The most moving part? Their families circled them during the ceremony, hands resting gently on shoulders, voices lifted in blessing. It wasn’t just beautiful, it was holy!
After the ceremony, we slipped away with just the two of them. The late afternoon sun draped itself across the white columns and brick of the church, casting everything in a golden hush. They leaned into one another with the ease of best friends and the love of something far deeper. There was something about the way Christin’s veil floated in the wind, the way Aaron smiled only at her, that made these portraits feel timeless. They didn’t need much direction, just a little space to be in love.
The reception was less of a party and more of a gathering, cozy, intentional, and full of conversation. Instead of a packed dance floor, there was soft music, hugs that lingered, and a dinner shared among people who mattered most. Their first dance played out like a quiet love letter, swaying beneath twinkle lights and the hum of laughter nearby. When it was time to go, a sparkler sendoff lit the path ahead, and they drove off into the night with a car full of joy and hearts wide open!
